Belinda Stronach tests leadership waters

WINNIPEG (CP) - Belinda Stronach received a small but warm welcome Wednesday as she took her tour to gauge support for a run at the federal Liberal leadership to Winnipeg.

Belinda Stronach has had leadership aspirations since her unsuccessful bid two years ago to lead the Conservatives. Last May, she shocked politicos of all stripes by crossing the floor to sit as a Liberal cabinet minister.

Q107 Toronto FM should play some new hard rock

Yes, Q107 FM in Toronto is a "classic rock" radio station. Well guess what? I'm sick and tired of listening to the same old classic rock over and over by groups and singers that are dead or who haven't recored in 30 or 40 years. Give me a break! This radio station used to be cool. I used to listen to Q107 regularly, when I was a kid. They used to play current hard rock and heavy metal music, along with classic rock. Now, all they play is the same groups and songs like the Rolling Stones, Zeppelin, Deep Purple, the Who, and on. They should also play some new hard rock and heavy metal too. I'm sure there are some great bands and singers out there that would love some exposure. Enough of my rant.

Here is their website:  www.Q107.com

If you really want to hear a great website with cool music (rock and pop plus), check out:  http://www.webmasterradio.fm/

U.S. Women's Beach Volleyball Super Stars:
I was sad to hear Holly McPeak lost her match against Kerri Walsh and Misty May today. Holly and Misty played so well. View The Women's Beach Volleyball Results From The 2004 Summer Games Here

* Let's not forget about the lovely and talented Elaine Youngs.

I wish all these talented and intelligent women the best of success because afterall they were the only reason a lot of men tuned in to the Olympics this year and why they had so many spectators at the beach in Athens. I love you ladies. Keep up the good work. Nice job!!
